BUKIT REPIN, MALAYSIA (15 - 16 Sept 2018)

A weekend retreat…. Not the one lying on a beach on an idyllic island, but one that has fuelled the heart, lungs, soul as well as the powered the legs and soles of the feet!

This retreat took 10 amazing ladies to Bukit Repin, just north of KL in Janda Baik, Pahang. It was not without its challenges (rain, mud, plenty of leeches to entertain us, enough falls to provide evidence of our efforts) but most importantly it was overwhelmingly filled with comaraderie, teamwork, laughter, conversation, nature and beauty. Having kicked off the day from Singapore at 4:30am, we walked the 17km to the summit of Repin and back, taking us 7-8 hours to complete.

The group stayed overnight in KL, enjoying a team dinner together.

On Sunday morning, half the group overcame the muscle aches to hike the Bukit Saga Waterfall Trek. Another beautiful trail in the jungle only 20 minutes from KL. Another 8km on the feet and we were ready for a sleep on the journey home.

Taking a break from the norm with a group of likeminded ladies gives you a renewed sense of energy and readiness for the week ahead!
